FLORIDA STATE PADDLEBOARD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Paddleboard Committee of the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum will conduct the Florida State Paddle Board Championships at Shepard Park, Cocoa Beach. Beach registration begins at 7:00 AM. Race time is 8:30 AM.    more info

2010 BOARDS & WAVES EXPO
Come visit THE COCOA BEACH SURF MUSEUM booth at the 2010 BOARDS & WAVES EXPO, the East coast's only consumer expo for surfers. Open to the public with over 70 exhibits including surfboards, fins, SUP, and accessorioes. A portion of theproceeeds will benefit SURFRIDER and The Cocoa Beach High Surf Team   more info

THE COCOA BEACH SURF MUSEUM is having a picnic on Saturday, May 8th from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the beach pavillion at Picnic Tables on Patrick Air Force Base. Everyone is welcome to attend. THE COCOA BEACH SURF MUSEUM will hold the 9th annual WATERMANS CHALLENGE starting with early registration Friday evening, June 4th and competiton starting Saturday June 5th running through Sunday June 6th. FINAL DAY OF DICK CATRI EXHIBIT
THE COCOA BEACH SURF MUSEUM will begin breakdown and curation of the Dick Catri exhibit beginning Saturday July 10th. This is the final day for public viewing of this exhibit. If you have not seen it, now is the time.

LADIES SURFING SOCIAL
THE COCOA BEACH SURF MUSEUM will host a a LADIES SURFING SOCIAL on Saturday July 24th 2010, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the beach behind The International Palms Resort in Cocoa Beach as part of the FLORIDA WOMEN OF THE WAVES celebration. Come and enjoy a morning of surfing just for the fun of it. Renew old friendships, make some new ones. All women are welcome.     more info

FLORIDA WOMEN OF THE WAVES EXHIBIT OPENING
THE COCOA BEACH SURF MUSEUM'S will be opening a new exhibit on Saturday, July 24, from 7 to 10 PM. The exhibit will feature important Florida female surfers from the 60's up to and including the newest up and comers in the sport. Expect to meet some of them and learn more about the impact women have made in surfing. The event is free and will feature live music, light refreshments and is open to the public.     more info
